DONALD & NORMA BROWN: As our founders, Donald and Norma Brown have become icons within the community which we serve. Collectively, their service and continued dedication to Stoney Creek never end. Whether it is volunteering for the local "Meals on Wheels" or to ongoing support to numerous local children's sports teams. Donald's commitment to the community includes years as the local District Fire Chief of the volunteer fire department. After over 50 years of service to the area, Donald and Norma are still very much a driving force behind the Funeral Home and are held in the highest esteem by their family, the staff and thousands of others.
 
     
 
CRAIG & JANE BROWN: Craig, the second generation of our Funeral Home has been licensed for almost 30 years and is the majority shareholder. Together with his wife Jane he has maintained and exceeded the high standards that have made the name Donald V. Brown Funeral Home synonymous with dedication, value and service. Craig and Jane's involvement with groups such as The Masonic Order, Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department, The Thrombophilia Society and the Winona Men's Club have made them stand out as pillars in Stoney Creek and Area. Jane's degree in Interior Decorating helps to enhance the warm atmosphere in the Funeral Home. Together, Craig and Jane continue to support many area youth sporting venues as is the firm's past many years.
 
     
 
JULIE BROWN-WEBBER AND TYSON WEBBER: Julie represents the third generation of the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home. Julie, also a shareholder, along with her husband Tyson, is launching the Funeral Home into the 21st Century. Tyson graduated from Humber College and was the recipient of the Hamilton and District Funeral Directors Association Award for Academic Proficiency and Professional Promise. Julie has been active in groups such as Rainbows (Grief therapy for Children) and Stoney Creek Wraparound a group aiding struggling families. The fourth generation of ownership is now in sight with Julie and Tyson's children; Brin (2005) and Emmett (2009).
 
     
 
TIM CURTIS (U.E.): Tim is our firm's longest standing employee with over 35 years of his dedication, professionalism and compassion adding to our solid reputation in Stoney Creek . Born in Grimsby, Ontario and spending most of his life in the Niagara Peninsula , Tim is a second generation Funeral Director. As a well a respected officer within The Masonic Order for over 32 years his talents also lie in other areas. Tim's favourite pastime has been serving on many residential boards and committees in our area earning him the respect of everyone's life he touches. An accomplished church organist, Tim is requested at weddings, weekly church services, Masonic Lodge meetings and fund raising events within the surrounding area. Tim is currently Treasurer of a local community charity that assists financially challenged families to regain a solid foothold in improving their family status. During his employ with the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, Tim has touched the lives of thousands and we are very proud to have him as a member of our fine family of staff members.
 
     
 
GREGORY BROWN: Spending most of his life in Stoney Creek, Gregory and his family now reside in nearby Cayuga, Ontario . Gregory joined our firm in 1981 with two post secondary school degrees. Greg has worn many hats in and around our community in his 25 years with Donald V. Brown Funeral Home. The needs of the less fortunate have benefited from his hours of volunteering at a local food bank. His involvement in area churches has also made Greg a well rounded member of our "team". Gregory has also influenced our firm with his commitment in years gone by with the Hamilton and District Funeral Director's Association, serving terms as Secretary and Treasurer. His presence is still known within this group with his ongoing support of the Annual Golf Tournament (One of the largest in South western Ontario ). We look forward to another 25 years of Greg's dedication and excellence in Funeral Service.
 
     
 
TOM BUSCH: Tom and his family are lifelong residents of Grimsby , Ontario . Tom's life evolves around his family, his church and his well chosen profession as a Funeral Director. He enjoys working with youth at church, as well as serving in different capacities at his children's elementary school. He served as a volunteer firefighter for the Stoney Creek Fire Department in his past and currently is a member of the Winona Men's Club. Tom heads up our annual "Christmas Service of Hope " which provides an opportunity for anyone who has suffered a loss of any kind, to a healing Memorial Service each Christmas Holiday Season. Tom has been a part of our caring family of Funeral Directors for over 20 years and we hope for many more to come.
 
     
 
JEN ANKER: Jen was raised in Binbrook where she attended Elementary School and later graduated from Saltfleet High School . Jen enjoyed many years of dance training and competed in Jazz, Tap and Ballet. After high school Jen attended Carlton University in Ottawa where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Jen also attended Humber College in Toronto and in June of 2007 completed all of the requirements to receive her Funeral Directors License. We invited Jen to stay with us to further compliment our staff.
